A beautiful parchment petition dated 1557-1559, 31 x 47 cm., requested by Lodovico Zoboli, a cleric from Reggio, Carlo Zoboli, and others from the Pope to obtain various religious concessions, listed and displayed at the end of the document. Signatures and signatures at the bottom right.

Specialist Notes

Pius IV, born Giovanni Angelo Medici di Marignano (in Latin: Pius IV; Milan, 31 March 1499 – Rome, 9 December 1565), was the 224th Pope of the Catholic Church, from 1559 to 1565. He was the pontiff who brought the Council of Trent to its conclusion on 4 December 1563.
