Printer's device on the title page, woodcut illustrations in the text, missing folded plate, woodworm damage on the lower margin of some leaves, some traces of humidity, contemporary hard parchment binding, handwritten title on the 5-ribbed spine, some small losses.

First Italian edition, one of the best from the sixteenth century, of this famous work dealing with agriculture. In particular, the second book is dedicated to wine and viticulture, analyzing the qualities and types of wine and grapes, describing the most famous wines, giving advice on cellars and barrels, olives, domestic animals and their illnesses, foods, the properties of herbs and their use in medicine and cooking.
