Lyon, for John of Tournes, 1547. In 12vo. First hand-reproduced leaf, half leather binding with marbled boards. Smooth spine with author, title, and gilt decorations. Hoepli bookplate on the inside cover. Trimmed pages, browning, and ink marks.

First edition printed in France, after the Aldine forgery made by Troth of Lyon.
