A beautiful two-page typewritten letter, 230 x 145 mm, sent from Rome on April 2, 1925. Roncalli signed himself "Archbishop of Areopoli." This was an ancient diocese in Palestine, a non-royal Titular See, meaning it did not correspond to an actual diocese.
