minor defects and losses
Questo importante e raro sevizio trova in confronto con quello oggi conservato al Museo Civico di Torino (G. Donatone, La terraglia napoletana 1782- 1860, Napoli 1991, figg. 65-66-67). Nel servizio qui offerto tuttavia il decoro a nastro sulla tesa è più complesso e ricco. La Fabbrica Migliuolo Giustiniani fu attiva tra il 1808 e il 1818 e si contraddistinse per la sua produzione di elevata qualità e raffinatezza. Oltre alle tipiche vedute di Napoli, uno dei motivi decorativi più apprezzati fu proprio questo delle "vestiture del Regno", che ritraevano personaggi popolari nei costumi tradizionali.
