Specialist Notes
In 1969, British Leyland decided to make the Mini a brand of its own and to intervene by improving the classic Mini and introducing a modified version: the Mini Clubman which differed in the front and in the interior. The range also included the successful station wagon version, called Estate. In 1976 the Clubman Estate lost the faux wood band, replaced by a simple adhesive strip in two colors matching the body color: in the case of the car presented here, bronze in combination with the brown color. The model, originally owned by the family of the racing driver Gino Munaron, is in undemanding restoration conditions. Complete.
