5 volumes in-folio with, overall, beautiful plates outside the text from the watercolors of Salvador Dalì. The plates, printed with a mixed silkscreen and color lithographic technique, are protected by didactic tissue paper in Japon paper. Beautiful binding in full leather in the color of leather, richly decorated with phytomorphic friezes and titles printed in gold on the spine with 5 raised bands. Gilded upper edges and ivory silk moiré endpapers. In elegant half-leather cases, with plates and spine in ivory silk moiré, well preserved. Copy no. 1212 published by Rizzoli, from a total print run of 1499 copies.
The lot includes: certificate of provenance and authenticity and small hand-shaped paperweight in embossed silver, signed lower left by Dalì, preserved in a hazelnut leather case.
