Sole d'estate , First edition, 1933, Fratelli Treves publishing house. Editorial paperback. Last collection of short stories by the Sardinian author, Rare. Present on the cover a browned stain and damage to the spine and binding.
The poet's house , First edition, 1930, Fratelli Treves publishing house. Later half-cloth binding with gold titles on the spine. The author, Grazia Deledda, the first Italian woman (and second Italian after Carducci) and second overall to win the Nobel Prize for literature in 1926.
Also in the lot: Poems by Ugo Fasolo, First edition, 1948, Vallecchi publishing house, Florence. Editorial paperback without dust jacket, slight detachment from the spine. Fasolo, a very good but not very well-known poet, was also a translator of Paul Valery. He knew and frequented, among others, Dino Buzzati, Carlo Bo, Aldo Palazzeschi.
