Spine with 5 raised bands and with black inserts and decorations. Marbled boards. Copperplate frontispiece with title. Printer's device on the title pages. Woodcut initials. Text arranged in two columns. In the first volume there is a folded plate containing: Antiquæ Romæ Facies. Editions illustrated with vignettes and plates. Light browning.
