Volume in 4°, editorial paperback with dust jacket illustrated in woodcut by Charles Doudelet, also author of the numerous black and white woodcuts interspersed in the text or engraved on the full page, in beards. Edition of 1000 hand-numbered copies, our copy is no. 73. Italian translation by Carlo Bandini, splendidly illustrated, of the famous Maeterlinckian drama from 1892. Signs of aging and small tears on the dust jacket, interior in excellent condition.
