Paris, Editions Bernard Grasset, 1935. In 8°. Limited edition of 1300 copies, this copy is no. 990 and is in alfa navarre. Bound in green Pollopas, signed by "Reliure Jotau Breveté SGDC". Spine with tag. Upper edge in gold. Publisher's cover preserved. Slight yellowing of the pages.
Que ma Joie demeure is a novel by the French writer Jean Giono, published in 1935. It is considered one of his masterpieces.

Artistic binding by Doucet. It is a plastic binding, more precisely in Pollopas. The binding is cubic and consists of three parts: the spine and two plates. The spine is mounted inside a round mold that allows the opening, the mold is also in Pollopas. This system allows the book to be bound without the use of glue. According to the artist, the book with this binding matches the contemporary style of the interior.
