Lugduni (Lyon) 1679 in 8°, approximately 720 pages. Full old parchment with manuscript title on the spine. Binding partially detached and deep mouse gnawing which defaces the last 90 pages of the dialogue Lux Obnubilata.
Specialist Notes
Anthology of 18 previously unpublished alchemical writings, all perfectly usable, except the last one. First volume, but the only one published. Period binding, very worn, but interior in very good condition, except as stated. Numerous notes and learned seventeenth-century handwritten comments on the white edges. Work seriously flawed but very enjoyable and rich in content.
