Rome, in the printing house of Lazzari Varese, 1685. In folio. Full parchment binding. Smooth spine. Ex libris on the inside cover. Woodcut initials and decorations. The volume is accompanied by numerous copper engravings, some double, others half-page and some repeated. The engravings show a series of beautiful views of Rome at the end of the 17th century with Meyer's urban planning proposals. The drawing of Piazza del Popolo is by Vanvitelli, the others are mostly by Meyer who is listed as an engraver together with Falda, Wouters, Blondeau, B. de Ballin, Collin. Light browning and restorations. Pencil marks. Marginal tears.
