Reproductions of Egyptian hieroglyphic magic tables on both boards, also in gold. 346 pages on fine heavy paper, ivory. Large photo of the author in the buttonhole. Magnificently decorated endpapers in color. Magical marks in the text, a double color plate and 3 large color magic plates by Linda Macfarlane. The text contains the typographic reproduction of the manuscript in the hand of AC himself produced under the dictation of the entity that appeared to him in 1904 in Cairo and the relative commentary by C. himself. The 16-page manuscript, known as The Book of the Law vel Liber Legis, later became the cornerstone on which Thelema, the entire magico-religious work of the British author, was built. The magician's commentary, written in the following years and published here posthumously for the first time, is divided into individual paragraphs, respectively in black and blood red. A. Crowley is universally recognized as the greatest magician of the twentieth century.

In the late 1920s it had its magical headquarters in Cefalù in Sicily, only to be expelled by the fascist government. Crowley was carefully introduced in Italy in the 1970s by J. Evola, in the second edition of his work on magic. The publication is edited by J. Symonds, the author's official biographer and literary executor, and by K. Grant, his spiritual heir at the head of the Magical Order, therefore the most qualified people ever for the purpose. Beautiful book. A valuable typographic work, dedicated to a niche of followers. First world edition, now unobtainable and highly sought after. New condition.
