Specialist Notes
Extremely rare. Illustration of the project presented to the Commercial Court to rework the regulation of the goldsmith's art in the Kingdom of Naples: Among the other rules in the project, royal stamping is envisaged throughout the Kingdom. From this project was born the Royal Dispatch of Ferdinand IV which gave a new look, including a legal one, to the southern goldsmith's art. Document of extreme importance for the study of the goldsmith's art and the goldsmiths' guild in Naples and the Kingdom.
