Specialist Notes
Angelo Masci (1758 -1820), lawyer born in Santa Sofia d'Epiro (Cosenza), a village founded by Greek-Albanian refugees at the end of the century. XV. His most interesting work is this "Politico-legal examination of the rights and prerogatives of the barons in the Kingdom of Naples", published in Naples in 1792 at the Stamperia Simoniana. A rare volume, small in size but of great importance for the history of feudal law, which precedes and perhaps constitutes a model for the "History of feudal abuses" by the jurist Davide Winspeare.
