Specialist Notes
Work of Florentine interest, the first part of which, which tells the story of the Confraternita della Misericordia of Florence, is followed by a “Road guide of the city of Florence. His division and parishes” with detailed indication of squares, streets, alleys, alleys, vaults and bridges. The panels, here in fine coeval colouring, depict the founder Piero di Luca Borsi, biblical scenes, views of Florence and the Confraternities of Montepulciano, Livorno, Prato, Sinalunga, Siena and Pescia.
