Venice. At the sign of the Salamandra, 1563. In 16°, typographical brand on the title page, 32 cc. no. + 1 c. nos. and a blank card. Full parchment binding, gilt decorated spine (small losses) and gilt frames with geometric and floral motifs with four flowers at the corners.
Specialist Notes
Second and unknown edition in which all the poetic writings of Bidelli are collected, composed of the collection "Diverse rhymes" and the poem in fifty octaves "Il trionfo". The first edition was published twelve years earlier in Venice by Francesco Marcolini. Extremely rare.
