In 2nd. 4 volumes, bound together, text in Greek and Latin, spaces for initials with guide letters, missing leaf 184 with the Giunta brand, supplied in photocopy, foxing, halos, stains, brown calfskin binding from the 16th century. XVII with embossed decoration, names of the authors embossed in gold on the spine, small restorations and losses.
Specialist Notes
Editio princeps of Aristide's fifty-two orations. The edition was edited by the Florentine physician Eufrosino Bonini and dedicated to Leo X. In addition to the orations, the work includes the Notitiae Filostrati of Aristides and orations of other ancient writers. Adams A-1702; Brunet I, 450 ("Belle dition, assez rare").
