Venice, Giunti, 1621. In 12th. Allegorical title page, engraved in copper with allegorical symbols, drop cap, friezes and finials engraved in wood, some spots and halos, compensated tear on o3 paper, 19th century parchment binding. slight stains.
Specialist Notes
First Italian edition. The work consists of twelve idylls (the first eight mythological, the remaining four pastoral), in which polymeters alternate with poems in hendecasyllables and loose septenaries.
