Paris, Guy Levis Mano, 1950. In 4th, pp. 43+14 with 5 tables f.t. and 5 original etchings by Javier Vilatò, numbered and signed. The text was composed with Bodoni 18-point font for Spanish and Caslon 12-point for French, loose-leaf editorial paperback stored in a cloth folder and heavy cardboard case with title printed on the spine. Minor flaws.
Specialist Notes
Numbered and signed edition, printed in only 23 copies on "Velin pur chiffon d'Arches". Javier Vilato, sculptor , painter and engraver (Barcelona, 1921 - Paris, 2000) son of Juan Vilato famous neuropsychiatrist and Lola Ruiz Picasso sister of Pablo Picasso; he grew up in an environment where artistic expression was daily bread and despite being influenced by it he created a personal and original style. His works can be found in all the great museums.
