Information
Geneva, Jean Antoine and Samuel de Tournes, 1658. In 2nd. Only vol.I of III. Frontispiece printed in red and black with intaglio vignette, portrait of the author engraved in copper by François Chauveau on the back of the eye on a shorter paper, initials engraved in wood, woodworm hole on the first 2 and last 5 issues but with a slight discomfort to the text only on some papers, blooms and browning, some humidity stains, small marginal tears on the door, ancient binding in half parchment, back with 6 nerves with double gusset added later, abrasions to the plates, a tear and stains on the back .

Part of the complete work of Paracelsus, an important Swiss physician, alchemist and astrologer (1493-1541) whose writings have had great influence on modern medicine, from psychiatry to toxicology.
