In 4 °. , floral elements etc., an elaborate second architectural title page follows with & nbsp; a vignette depicting the Faith in the company of Juno and Minerva, crowning Francis I and Marshal Giangiacomo Trivulzio, wood attributed to the same author of the woodcuts illustrating the & nbsp; Gesta beatae Veronicae & nbsp ; by Isidoro Isolani (1518) , 20th century binding in blond calfskin with title on the spine in gold, nails and golden doblure.
Specialist Notes
A poem by Andrea Assaraco which recounts events in the Italian history of the 15th and 16th centuries, in particular those of the Duchy of Milan under the dominion of GianGiacomo Trivulzio. The poet also praises Aldus Manutius both as a printer and as a man of culture, on the verso of paper LXXX.
