Information
Hammersmith, Kelmscott Press, 1894. In 12th. Frame decorated with phytomorphic motifs and initials designed by Morris, text printed in red and black ink in Chaucer characters, two very small holes in the white margin of d2, editorial binding in half canvas and cardboard, title printed in black on the front plate, slight defects. Paper ex libris on the counterplate "Radclyffe Hall an Una Troubridge".
Specialist Notes
First edition, in a limited edition of 525 copies on Perch paper published by Kelmcott Press, a publishing house founded by Morris himself in 1891.
