Specialist Notes
Original edition by botanist Joseph Pitton de Tournefort (1656-1708), on his & nbsp; the innovative system of classification of plants based on the characters of the corolla. The work is enriched by a very rich iconographic apparatus that counts 447 tables (out of 451, our copy is missing 4), based on the drawings of Claude Aubriet, & nbsp; who would become the main artist of the Garden of the King of France. & Nbsp; & nbsp ;
