Basileae, apud And. Cratandrum et Joan. Bebelium, 1532. In 4th. Figured drop caps, tear restored to the last paper without loss of text, the final paper with the letterpress mark is missing, green Moroccan binding in the middle and marbled cardboard with title on the spine. Copy densely annotated by an ancient hand in the first works, up to about the Ranae.
Specialist Notes
Valuable exemplary edition on the Aldine one of 1498 but with substantial variations, offered here as a study copy with interesting annotations, all to be studied.
