Specialist Notes

The first edition of this work by Jesuit Father Jobert Louis (1637-1719) was published in Paris in 1692 and the following year in Amsterdam, then in 1715 a second edition was published in Paris and then again in Amsterdam; this is a second edition, rather rare. § A rare, complete work , of valuable historical-numismatic interest both for its contents relating to the local history of Greece and for numismatics in general.
