Splendid copper-engraved illustrated frontispiece, portrait of the dedicatee Domenico Contareno, portrait of the author, with 104 copper-engraved oval portraits in the text, some rare browning and foxing, later binding in stiff parchment, gold titles within tiles, one tile slightly detached.

Famous complete work of the frontispiece and the two portraits and the very rich iconographic apparatus which describes the Doges starting from Paoluccio Anafesto (697 - 771) up to Domenico Contarini.
