Famous work by Ficino reprinted by Giunti in September 1522, together with the Council of Master Thomas del Garbo against the Plague (folios 50-61), when a terrible epidemic of the Black Death had once again raged in Italy and Florence. The work, which investigates the causes and remedies against the plague, had been published for the first time in 1481. See Durling 1531; Wellcome I, 2264.
