Beautiful copper-engraved frontispiece by Crivellari, half-title, copperplate vignette on the title page by Zucchi, two full-page portraits of the author and Charles Emmanuel III, beautiful, finely engraved headpieces, wide margins, detached flyleaf, contemporary calf binding, red spray edges, gilt title on the spine with five raised bands and decorations. Ownership stamp on the half-title "Biblioteca Puricelli Guerra". § Together in the lot : Ricolvi, Giovanni Paolo. Posthumous pamphlets dedicated to His Royal Majesty Charles Emmanuel King of Sardinia , Turin, Royal Printing House, 1762. 4°. Woodcut coat of arms on the title page, woodcut friezes, very light browning, contemporary calf binding, gold coat of arms in the centre of the framed plates, title within a gold insert on the spine, signs of wear.
