Specialist Notes
A fine, original copy of this elegantly printed edition from Venice, the first printed by Stagnino. The text follows the 1502 Aldine edition edited by Bembo, with the addition of Cristoforo Landino's Commentary and corrections by Fra' Pietro da Figino, already published in 1491. The woodcuts are based on those from the 1491 edition.
