With 14 hand-colored full-page lithographs, each with caption, and numerous portraits, one of which hand-colored, small tear restored to a panel, few slight halos, coeval binding in cardboard with "28 July 1883 Album-Casamicciola Ricordo" at frontispiece within frame, front plate detached, defects. Bookplate to the front plate.

Rare album created by R. Siesto to finance the relief and reconstruction after the disastrous earthquake that hit Ischia on July 28, 1883. The text contains the names and portraits of those who were noted in the relief and rescue works, views of some places on the island before and after the earthquake and some illustrated episodes, a historical-geographical report on the island by Prof. Raffaele Ferretti, scientific opinions, a collection of telegrams. & nbsp; & nbsp;
