II vol. linked with Origin of the City and the noble families of Naples , Naples, & nbsp; Giovanni Gravier, 1769, coeval parchment binding with title, author and tome number imprinted in gold within pieces, slight defects.

Neapolitan historian of fallen aristocratic lineage, Francesco Capeceltro (1595 - c.ca 1670) opposed to the exorbitant Spanish viceregal economic claims of the Kingdom and variously involved in the political / social events of the time. Author mainly of various treatises on the Kingdom of Naples from its origins to Frederick II
