Information
Milan, Federico Agnelli, 1768. In 4th. 2 vols. On the title page typographic brand engraved in wood with Christian Wisdom in the centre, in his right hand he holds a book on which a lamb is placed, between the divine triangle and a small temple, headers and drop caps engraved on wood, rare blooms and light staining, final installments with light browning, 19th century binding. XIX in half parchment with corners and decorated paper, author, title and tome impressed in gold within a double red gusset on the smooth spine.
Specialist Notes
Second edition (the first Naples, 1765) "enhanced by various additions", of the work of the philosopher and economist Antonio Genovesi (1713-1769), since 1754 holder of a chair established specifically for him at the Neapolitan University by Bartolomeo Intieri.
