In Bologna, in the Lelio della Volpe printing house, 1753 - 1764. 8th, vols. 2, pp. (12)-143; 144 with 75 and 57 (badly numbered, plate 44 is repeated) plates engraved on copper, many folded, f.t., some slight foxing. Contemporary binding in full parchment, tit. and gold friezes on the spine, colored cuts.

Beautiful example of a rare and sought-after work. "These elementary precepts preceded by a compendium of practical geometry were used for a long time in Bologna's drawing schools and are essentially the first and second parts of Civil Architecture". See Caterzani, page. 26.
