Florence, heirs of Filippo Giunta, 1519. In 8°. Brand of the Florentine lily with two putti, holding two cornucopias at their sides, rests on a base, in a fine volume, light foxing but overall a fresh and genuine copy, body of the text slightly detached from the binding, contemporary Venetian binding with redone spine, defects.
Specialist Notes
An important edition, rarer than the Aldine edition of 1503, which in turn was modeled on the Florence edition of 1494, of this anthology which collects in seven books the literary production of the Greek epigrammatic poets.
