Identification bracelet for Italian Police personnel employed in Rome, declared an " Open City " in the summer-autumn of 1943

Made of white cotton fabric, with zigzag stitched edges and ribbon ties at the four corners.
A small Italian flag is sewn into the center of the bracelet, with a five-pointed golden yellow star . Above the flag is a stamp in blue ink: " POLICE ". Below the flag is the individual registration number: " 13097 ", and around the edge is a round stamp : OPEN CITY OF ROME.
It measures approximately 95x250mm, in excellent condition

The identification bracelets were distributed to police on duty or as badges for personnel in civilian clothes.
Each bracelet was numbered to ensure staff traceability.
