Original, white cotton with the five Olympic rings printed on it (blue, black, red, yellow, and green), complete with laces and a wooden pole. The circular stamp in the top inside corner reads XVII Olimpiades Roma .
It measures approximately 100x80cm, the wooden pole approximately 200cm
In excellent condition
The Olympic flag was designed by Pierre de Coubertin in 1913 and adopted
officially by the International Olympic Committee in 1914, on the occasion
of the twentieth anniversary of the founding of the IOC. The five rings
intertwined represent the union of the five continents and the meeting of the
athletes from around the world in Olympic competitions.
