Polychrome ceramic torch commemorating the 1960 Summer Games of the XVII Olympiad in Rome
Inspired by the original design by archaeologist Amedeo Maiuri, this particular version of the torch was produced in very limited numbers and donated to political and sports figures of the time, such as Giulio Andreotti and officials of the Olympic Sports Committee.
It measures approximately 360mm tall and is in excellent condition.
