In a solo exhibition at the Venice Biennale, he exhibited a collection of postcards that was purchased by the Italian monarchs. He maintained working relationships with several printing firms, with whom he continued to collaborate until the end of his artistic career, providing them with drawings and watercolors to reproduce on postcards or in the then-nascent advertising medium of advertising, especially for reproduction in tinplate advertising images.
