compressed globular shape with rounded shoulder, narrow circular opening and flat base, entirely coated in a monochrome oxblood red (sang de bœuf) glaze, with characteristic darker vertical streaks in the upper part fading towards reddish-purple in the lower part, a typical effect of reduction firing. The lid with button knob features a blue-purple glaze with iridescent reflections
