the flattened circular body resting on a tall, flared truncated-conical foot and a cylindrical neck with a flared, lobed rim, in stoneware with an ivory-coloured crackled glaze, finely painted in polychrome and lavish gold; on the front of the body, a general in golden armour with an attendant in a rocky landscape; on the reverse, three wise men in conversation beneath a pine tree in a mountain landscape; the reserves, neck and foot are richly decorated. Signed in red under the base, with a paper label and sticker from the Holzapfel Collection.
