both with a compressed globular body raised on three red-lacquered feet, from which rises a long cylindrical neck with small bracket handles terminating in a flared mouth with gilded rim; the neck with a geometric pattern of concentric lozenges alternating with rayed medallions, all executed in red and grey on an antique pink ground; the body with naturalistic scenes of birds among flowering cherry and chrysanthemum branches within panels; signed Menzai (?)
