“On April 14, a first excursion to St. Julien le Pauvre was planned, an abandoned church, almost semi-unknown in a country devoid of any interest. Others had to follow this excursion. Picabia, as he mostly did at public meetings, took off at the last moment and didn't show up at all. This first excursion, scheduled with the participation of the whole Dada body, was a complete failure. It rained, no one came, so that other businesses of the kind were renounced. " (Hans Richter)
