Heavy, rifled, 12,4 mm cal. barrel of octagonal section (clean bore, clearly visible rifling), the massive breech masterfully engraved with a burin in leaf spirals and adorned with silver-inlaid frames and floral designs, the left side with fuller, a little further a silver signature reads in Gothic letters "Karl Pirko in Wien"; this is followed by a fixed rear sight with foldaway sight leaf, the foreside carved as a pike; at the nozzle a beautiful, large precision foresight, surrounded by silver frame (partially missing finish). Tang with spiral engravings, flower and a face looking to the left; peep sight at the base. Percussion, forward spring lock, lock plate and cock completely engraved with a burin depicting floral spirals, in the central part, on an engraved parchment, the gold-inlaid signature reads "PIRKO"; the cylinder engraved and provided with a small spark arrester. Wooden, full stock with checkered palm rest; the left side of the butt with three well-carved floral motifs and cheekpiece (small missing part) decorated with a rhomboid horn insert; on the right side, a well-carved thumb rest finely carved with floral motifs and internally with scale pattern. Beautiful steel mounts engraved with burin and silver-inlaid elements; all with floral spirals background and each provided with decorative additions; in particular, the counterplate with gold inscription "WIEN" and a mask, also featuring a finely crafted screw designed for quick disassembly, featuring a structure of three interlocking rings. Anatomical trigger guard with flower decoration and set trigger; finally, the butt plate with boar, trumpet, spit, stag and sword. Horn muzzle ring. Iron ramrod pipes engraved and silver-plated with floral motifs. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod.
