Vienna
length 112 cm.
Octagonal, smoothbore, 7.5 mm cal barrel, retaining much of the original browning; the base features silver inlays and floral engravings. Further along the barrel, a silver-inlaid (partially missing) signature reads "K: Pirko in Wien." Adjustable rear sight with screw mechanism and finely carved and engraved floral base; muzzle with a precision front sight. Below the barrel, in front of the trigger guard, a lever for barrel opening; finely crafted and fully working mechanism. Inner wooden stock with checkered palm rest; right side of the buttstock with a thumb rest, carved in a scaled pattern and externally decorated with floral motifs; the left side with cheeck piece . The top of the stock with an adjustable iron diopter. Brass mounts finely and fully engraved; the plate of the lock and of the counterplate decorated with scrolls, a lion's head, and signed respectively “PIRKO / WIEN.” Anatomically shaped trigger guard with set triggers; anatomically shaped buttplate with a curled lower end. The dorsal tang features a beautiful depiction of a female figure among floral scrolls. With an engraved cross-shaped inlay on both sides of the stock. On the right side, a very rare lever for charging the air reservoir (possibly added later), with wooden handle and “V”-shaped head ending in a ring. The air reservoir is located within the stock. Wooden ramrod with brass ball-end.
