Straight, double-edged blade of hexagonal section, with fuller on both sides at the base, marked "N D N D R N ..." and "D N D N D R Z ..."; tang with beautiful “CAINO” marking and "S" mark surmounted by a three-pointed crown. Iron hilt, quillon with straight with straight quillons and enlarged heads, two ring guards extending from the two arms of the hilt; counterguard with three loop guards. Pommel with longitudinal grooves, flattened spherical button. Spool consisting of iron wire binding and Moor's heads. An interesting and beautiful sword in good condition.
