Straight, double-edged blade of hexagonal section; a central fuller at the base engraved with a globus cruciger with bifurcated quillons (remains of copper); long, thick tang with mark. Beautiful iron hilt with large ring carved in the centre, straight quillons with moulded heads, centre of crossguard with oblique grooves; two arms of the hilt and two ring-guards, the latter of different shapes, the one on the front side worked en suite with the large ring, the one on the rear side angled on the blade plane (probably to block the opponent's blade); guard with curled upper end and worked en suite with the quillon heads. Fig-shaped pommel carved with fullers and oblique grooves. Fine grip covered with iron wire binding and Moor's heads.
