The series was produced in the United States in 253 episodes from 1975 to 1985. It was the second of four spin-offs of the TV seriesArcibaldo (All in the Family)The series tells the story of George and Louise Jefferson, a black couple, he is an entrepreneur of a chain of laundries, she is a housewife and a volunteer in a counseling centre.
