Literature
Antonio Cabrini (Cremona, 8 October 1957) is an Italian footballer, a defender, world champion with the Italian national team in 1982. Considered one of the first modern full-backs, as well as one of the greatest interpreters of the role worldwide, he linked his name mainly at Juventus, a team for which he played for thirteen seasons between the 70s and 80s. Together with the goalkeeper Dino Zoff, the libero Gaetano Scirea and the other full-back Claudio Gentile, teammates and national team mates, Cabrini formed one of the best lines defensive teams in the history of football. With the Bianconeri he scored 440 matches and 52 goals, winning six league titles, two Italian Cups and all the major UEFA club competitions: the first player (along with the aforementioned Scirea) to reach this milestone. He played 73 games for the national team, scoring 9 goals, making him the most prolific defender in the history of the Azzurri.
